A recent Bryan Adams concert in Mumbai turned into a distressing experience for Sheldon Aranjo due to the lack of adequate washroom facilities.
Aranjo, a media and entertainment professional, highlighted the issue on LinkedIn in an open letter addressed to Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal and EVA Global Events, who organised the concert. The event, held on December 13, was promoted by Zomato through its Zomato Live platform.
In his post, Aranjo shared a picture of his soiled pants as evidence and expressed his frustration. He revealed that there were only three toilets provided for a crowd of over 1,000 people. Due to the long queues and lack of available washrooms, he was left with no option and ended up urinating in his pants.
“I PAID to PEE (in my pants) at the Bryan Adams concert,” he said adding, “I am NOT ashamed to say that I am a diabetic with continence issues. You guys should be ashamed for providing ~3 loos/1000 people.”
Aranjo said that he faced the situation despite having a gold ticket which reportedly cost Rs 11,999.

He revealed that he ran toward the nearest tree at the venue but he had soiled his pants already. Revealing that he is diabetic, Aranjo wrote, “this is not a rant, it’s a cry for help.
Aranjo explained that he wasn’t the only one dissatisfied with the event’s management. He overheard other concert-goers complaining about similar issues, including the long wait times for the washrooms, poor management at the food stalls, and the unnecessary hassle of using a cashless system that required loading money onto pre-issued cards.
“Please get your sh%t together before bringing down international artists and charging us money to be treated to your learning curve. It seems, you guys are in a hurry to launch event companies and flip them,” he further wrote.
