OnePlus 13R And Ace 5 Specs Surface Once More, But They’re Not What We Expected

OnePlus is preparing to launch two exciting smartphones in China: the OnePlus Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro. These devices are expected to make their global debut as the OnePlus 13R, likely at the same time as the global unveiling of the OnePlus 13 next month. As the launch date approaches, new leaks have surfaced, giving us a closer look at the specs of both the Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro.

According to a tipster, the OnePlus Ace 5 will feature a 6.78-inch “1.5K” LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. This will offer smooth, crisp visuals, making for a fantastic viewing experience. Under the hood, the Ace 5 will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, and it will be available in several memory configurations: 12GB of RAM with 256GB of storage, 12GB of RAM with 512GB of storage, 16GB of RAM with 256GB of storage, 16GB of RAM with 512GB of storage, and a high-end 16GB of RAM with 1TB of internal storage. This variety should cater to users who need top-tier performance, whether they’re gaming, multitasking, or storing large files.

When it comes to cameras, the OnePlus Ace 5 will sport a triple rear camera setup. The main camera will be a 50MP sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide lens and an additional 2MP sensor. This flexible camera system should allow users to capture a wide range of shots, from stunning landscapes to detailed close-ups. The device will also feature a sleek metal frame and an in-display optical fingerprint sensor for security.

The details on the Ace 5’s battery are a bit unclear, as two sources have provided slightly different information. One leak mentions a 6,415 mAh battery, while the other suggests it will have a 6,500 mAh battery. Either way, both options will support 80W wired charging, ensuring fast and efficient power-ups.

The Ace 5 Pro will be quite similar to the regular Ace 5, with a few key differences. The Pro model will be powered by the more advanced Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, a step up from the regular Ace 5’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. The Pro variant will also come with a slightly smaller 6,100 mAh battery but will support faster 100W wired charging. Aside from these changes, the design and most features will remain the same between the two models.

It’s also worth noting that earlier rumors suggested the Ace 5 would have a 6,200 mAh battery and the Pro version would have a 6,300 mAh battery, so the latest leaks, which show smaller capacities, might change before the official launch.

The OnePlus Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro look set to be powerful and well-rounded smartphones, with top-tier processors, impressive cameras, and fast charging. While the leaks offer an intriguing look at the upcoming devices, it’s always important to take them with a pinch of salt, as official specs could differ when the phones are finally revealed.
